Name: Nite Shade
Rank: Hero
Super Identity N/A
Age: 55
Gender: Male
Height: 6 ft. with the ability to extend his arms and legs to a maximum height of 40 ft.
Weight: 250, but looks around 180 because of denser plant material making up most of his body.
Appearance: Nite Shade appears to be a twisted large jungle plant with vines making up most of his body, but still resembles a humanoid form. As for clothing, he wears nothing more than he can find lying about, but prefers blue jeans when he can find some.
Home: He lives in the woods outside New Haven.
Superpowers: Has the ability to extend his arms and legs to a maximum of 20 feet, but they are weaker the further he extends them. He can photosynthesize to heal and “eat”, but it takes around 15 hours to completely heal him.
Equipment: Nite Shade keeps his AK-47 with him at all times to remember what he has been through, as well as for protection. It has no special attributes, but it is the only thing he truly cares for.
Strengths: Being trained in modern military arts, Nite Shade can use nearly all firearms, and can operate jets and helicopters.
Weaknesses: Fire is not only extremely dangerous to Nite Shade, but he will flee at the sight of flame no matter the repercussions.
History: When America entered the Vietnam War, many government officials dreamt of creating a soldier that could not only spray with bullets, but strike with fear. Inspired by the guerrillas which ambushed troops from the environment; they crafted a new soldier with the brain of a human and the body of the jungle. He was given the codename nightshade; and was able to perform tactical maneuvers and air drops that would have been impossible for a regular human being. The constant warfare and combat began to take its toll on him. What of the people he was killing? One day he was ordered to gun down civilians; and when his squad began to fire; he slaughtered them. After this incident, his officers attempted to end him using the liquid fire napalm. Filled with hatred for the life he was forced to live, he swam to the east cost of America with the intention of hunting down the people responsible for his creation. But he was feared by any town he came across and has been forced to life in forests and parks carrying his hatred for those who bring violence to those who do not deserve it.
