Name: Samuel Francis Powers the Fourth
Rank: Sidekick/Superhero. Depending on if I find him a hero to team up with.
Super Identity: Warbot
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 156lbs (Counting the metal parts? 192lbs)
Appearance: Being mulatto, Sam has light brown skin. His frame is small, and not in any sense athletic. He has a long face, with deep set green eyes. His hair is kept close to his skull, and is as black as his mother's. For clothing, he's always been a function over fashion. T-shirts, dark jeans, brown work boots and his leather jacket is all he needs. Of course, his left arm is metal. It's a mix of metals, mostly bronze and copper made to look like his skin. Even though when it catches the light most can easily tell it's not skin.
His hero appearance is armor made from the robotic system living within him. It's made to preserve and enhance his dexterity and strength. The whole thing is metal, thankfully with a cooling system built in.
((Image belongs to IgnusDei on DeviantArt, not me. I can't draw stick people.))
Home: Washington D.C.
Superpowers: Minor technopathic skills(from himself), as well as adaptation and a slight healing advantage(from his tech parts).
Equipment: A.R.I.E.S (Adapting Robotic Intelligent Enhancement System, I'll explain more in the history section if you'll kindly keep reading) version 5.3.
Strengths: Computers in general, math, science, problem solving, and above average stamina.
Weaknesses: Common sense, socializing with people his age group or younger, paying attention to things he doesn't enjoy, taking responicblity, EMPs knock him out, and thinking things through is a weakness. As in he doesn't really think them through.
History:
It didn't matter what they had, Samuel and his wife Tamora told people, they just hoped the baby was healthy. They didn't get that wish. Born with a lung defect, their young son wasn't going to live past two. However, Samuel wasn't one to take that lying down. A genius in the world of robotics, and a man way ahead of his time, Samuel designed a tiny robot that would (in theory) replace his son's defective lung. After arguing with the doctors, and then his wife, Samuel finally was able to use his invention on his son. When Samuel the Fourth reached age three, the family was over joyed but quickly realized that the technology was going to need to be replaced.
So a young Sammy grew up making trips to his father's lab, their mansion attic in Delmont , for repairs and upgrades. By the time he was six, his father had installed A.R.I.E.S 2.6. It wasn't just a lung anymore either. Unknown to anyone, A.R.I.E.S had an adaptation system to it, and grew smarter by the week. It developed it's own nano-tech, tiny robots, and sent them through Sammy's system doing repairs. A small cut was healed withing minutes, he hardly got sick, and never needed glasses like both of his parents.
However, A.R.I.E.S's secret came out when Sammy was caught in a lab explosion with his father. The boy was fifteen, and had just finished learning all he could about the system inside him. The explosion came from a bomb, planted by an angry employee. Sammy's dad was far enough away that he only suffered minimal damage, while in Sammy's case, well, if he didn't have A.R.I.E.S then he would have died. He did lose an arm however, and using it's nano-bots and extra metals lodged into his skin A.R.I.E.S built a new arm.
Since then, the Powers boys have discovered their robot gained it's intelligence due to Sammy's technopathic ability. They also found out the boy had a technopathic ability, which explained a lot (common sense skipped two generations in this family) as well as made the final upgrades to A.R.I.E.S a lot easier. It's gotten to the point that while he sleeps, the robot repairs and upgrades itself. Using his power, Sam can communicate back and forth with A.R.I.E.S which he has used on many a college exam.
Now twenty-one and working on a new A.R.I.E.S upgrade, Sam has taken a semester off of college. His mother, CEO of Powers Manufacturing, has recently told him how she's planning on passing the company over to him once he graduates. The guy isn't sure he wants that much responsibility. Thus, he's traveled to New Haven; his mother's based the company in D.C and his father still resides in their Delmont home.
