The element lounged about her cavern of metal and flame; deep under the city ground in the old factory she's claimed her own. As of late word of her work as grown thin. No one came in for anything-not even a wanderer for her to crisp. Her rock jaw cracked and cooled into a frown. How much longer would she have to entertain herself with petty eavesdropping on the areas open flame. That man had the cliche candle light dinner, old couple by the fire, Political official being scandalous, homeless talk of society and their "If only I had this.." theories. She sighed a steamy hiss. Centuries of mischief and Niran has found herself the dull, slow moving time of her lackadaisical state endless. Perhaps she would keep switching her focus on a flame until she found something worth listening too. She curled up into her large manufacturing furnace, locking back into her meditation-focusing to find something for her nonexistent ears to pick up on.

Elisabet floated heavily in the air of her four room apartment in downtown Delmont. At nights that were as special as this one happened to be, she would take the night off from murder or robberies and spend the night camped up in one of her two homes-- and usually, when not at her dorm in New Haven, she was working hard on a ritual or celebration that held relevance to some mythical (by human standards) creature or date that was no longer of any importance.
Her hair still fell in a long, straight waterfall down her back, and her eyes were a wonderful electric blue now, rather than the bleak and sly indigo that occupied when she was causing chaos so late into the night. And her home's bedroom looked like a scene cut out of some terrible horror move-- body-missing limbs hung, insides of humans and other creatures were stored neatly in jars, and tons of little chests, drawers, and other sorts of things were sitting all around. Books were strewn across the floor, and a large bowl full of some sort of dust sat in a circle of runes drawn in blood. The woman smiled, humming softly to herself in the space that she could move, and cut her hand; it bled onto the ingredients of the bowl, seeped into the powder as if it were alive, before it began to crack. "Non bagno te, bagno il tuo cuore, Che sempre più tu mi possa amare, E più tu non mi possa lasciare, E con altre donne tu non possa andare, E quell' affare Con altre donne non ti si possa alzare." She recited this over and over, each one causing the mixture to spark and boom, until it formed with a gracious flame that lit up her room entirely with a beautiful emerald light. It smelled softly of rotted flesh, but that only made Elisabet more pleased.

Nirans consciousness wavered like a channel changing every second, different houses, homes, streets and didnt interest her-only something caught her attention. On the rim of her extent she sensed something she has not come across in centuries. Green flame-devils work she always called it. Someone was into old magics that were left dead for tale-so who would want to summon them again now? She was just drawn to this- thick condensed flame. As she zoned in the flame above her head sparked a green and blue shadow- flickering in tune with it. But sounds could bring her so far. A chant- a surprising female voice, but not much else. She considered going deeper-letting time pass to see the progress of this flame before she decided to do so.

The blonde was completely oblivious to her intruder, the one eavesdropping through the fires she used to summon. The flame split to life in the circle of candles that encircled her and whatever she was to summon, filling her nostrils with scents that were strong end foul enough to make any normal person vomit. But, Elisbeta was not normal, and she adored the stench of ancient carcasses and dead things. It also seemed to not bother the three visions that appeared in the room, looming in white robes over her concoction. Offering a bow to the three, the strange summoner spoke up, her voice full of excitement. "Merry night to you, Moirai," She began, sitting up and offering a fantastically delirious smile, "A pleasure to have as guests in my home once again the Fates."

If she had a brow to arch, she'd surely have been. Finally stumbling upon something interesting, Niran focused in on the voice. Green flame-now talking aloud, the girl must have summoned someone-Or something. The flame above her head sparked in surprise. The fates?-they were nearly untouchable, so how would it be a human child got in touch with them? She hissed in her domain, not affecting the spying flame of course. She itched to inch closer to this spectacle, but she had to be cautious. She had to wait for the right moment.

The three women, with their faces full of apathy and the way they held themselves so very distinguished, each greeted the woman with a nod of acceptance and approval. Elisabeta grinned; how wonderful they could adore her so much as to actually come to her home! "I know it is uncalled for to ask for your presence unannounced," she began, having laid down on the floor, and now was rolling on to her back and staring up at them," But it seems I have found a bit of an issue."
The three women nodded their head-- their grotesque and deformed heads-- and one motioned for the blonde to continue. "You see, there is a woman and a man I would like to know about. I would like to know of whom they are behind their masks... Could you do this for me?"

The flame scoffed-she questioned of her business and yet had the audacity to ask /the fates/ for help. Was her skill so forgotten. This angered the element. Her arrogance clouding her better sense, she looked into the flame. The room was of how she thought, sacrifices in a hellish form, the fates towering over in their might-and a young girl in the center of it all. She was by far the most questionable. The fire in the room was seemingly untouched-only the soft flicker still burning-and the almost invisible shape at the base of the flame of two soft eyes that flickered away as if imagination with every glance.

"Maching Bird in New Haven, and a man who calls himself The Ant that lives here." Perhaps her lack of knowing their real names would make it more difficult for The Fates to track these people down? Probably not, Elisa knew, because they were in control of everything every single person and human and even God did, and even Elisa was no exception. The fact that she could unexpectedly call on them was just a sign that the Fates were losing their touch-- and Elisa enjoyed that very much.
"To speak of which that we know And bring their identities for you to show Will bring about a loss of life And it will cost thee a hefty price," One said, her words making the grin on the tanned woman's face fade. Price? She could give them lots of things.
"You wish to disrupt their fate And bring destruction in your wake But will you pay the toll To put their lives in your control?" The middle one asked, her milky eyes staring Elisa down with a look of contented pleasure. Before the third could speak, the woman's mouth opened. "How many years are you asking for in exchange to give me the knowledge of their identities?" Their laughs were mere cackles. "One thousand."

The element would surely laugh at that once out of meditation. Was her wisdom so clouded?-or was she really some arrogant immortal? She glanced about the fates, but not to long. She did know if her abilities reached as far as fooling them just yet. Her eyes narrowed to the girl. Gathering all this information would surely bring a mighty cost. She wanted some of the hero's Nirans heard so much about these days. Perhaps she'll reach out to them? Or perhaps she could be of use to this girl- gathering and using information was her game, after all.

Elisa's eyes narrowed, and she rolled over, sitting up straight. Running a hand through her platinum blonde hair the girl sighed. Her bright blue orbs flickered to the three hags and she grimaced. "You're not going to tell me how many years I've to waste, are you?"
"Have you forgotten so soon? We told you once, long ago under a bright moon how many years you had in supply Before we cut your thread and you were to die." One snickered, the other hummed softly, and the middle, who had spoken, stared at Elisa. They wanted one thousand years off the girl's life. Why did they give her such steep costs? Gods received nothing so cruelly costly, yet because the blonde was a daughter of Hell fire she was punished by them. She had half a mind to call them racist, but that didn't quite fit the shoe.
"I've given you thousands upon thousands of years already..." Her voice murmured, lowering three octaves in a threatening tone. She did not like their arrogance or their favoritism towards those of a more holy nature. "What can fifty years get me? Will you tell me if either hero has anything planned against me?"

The flame twitched, itching to do more. This meditation got so tedious sometimes. She had to wait for the fates to leave before she could interfere-persuade this foolish girl. Of course she would have to wait to regain all the energy she wasted away because of this, but it was worth it. A contract. The fire shivered up with excitement-the green flame only flickering slightly because of it.

Each fate murmured so quietly her ears couldn't catch the words, but she let them take their time. They were deciding if her time in calling them would be absolutely pointless or completely worthwhile, but she already had a feeling that it would be moot. The Fates were such fools, though, Elisa thought, because her life was limited by Earth years. Death had to be inflicted, and the Fates were not even invincible to her powers.
"This offer we can not take So you may sit in this room and shake Because without that one thousand years We refuse to ease your fears!" The three women cackled and screeched in that strange laughter of theirs, each one disappearing in the little statue the blonde woman had set out to summon them. Their vessel once again broke, and the summoner sighed. How annoying, she thought, as the flames that surrounded the room were blown out by her pale rose pink lips. The girl set everything back and away, the room looking like a proper place of witchcraft and magiks of old lore. Her hands snaked around jars and boxes and glasses and cups and the most horrific of statues and relics, until four fingers and a thumb wrapped around a small crystal ball, which suddenly came to life in her hand. Her eyes closed, and they moved about under the flesh of her eyelids. So I've had a guest who wants my attention? She mentally thought, her slips curling up into a smile. "How promising. And you, elemental... Have you enjoyed your snooping around?"

When the fire was blown out, her connection was lost. Niran opened her firey eyes back to the metal and stone room before slipping into a pool for liquid fire. She was exhausted, but the pool would ease her in no time. Just when she thought she would relax she heard the girls voice again-Growling in a steaming hiss at her foolishness to be spotted, but she calmed before answering. "Hardly. Green flame is so rare these days I couldn't help myself." She mused, sure the inquiring girl would here her despite the silence of the room.

Elisa hummed; it had not been the flame's intentions to be caught. But why would you snoop around something as dangerous as green flames? These colors were Satanic, and no average human could generate such a large quantity. So the creature was interested in the fire and had made the mistake of underestimating an esteemed criminal. A villain, who now had to take the official step up to Super villain before she could be pacified. Curiosity killed the cat, you know... Elisa ignored that voice, waving it off and looking at the only flickering flame in the room. "That is because I am the only one with knowledge of these magiks anymore," Her voice came out softly, eyes staring at their way of communication, "and the only one whom can use them to such effects. Now, what is this deal you planned on offering me? I assume you cannot enter my room without burning it?"

"Dont be so critical of me, dear." The dry voice hummed. "If I wanted, I could. Such concentration to enter fully would be terribly draining, however." As Niran spoke, She slipped back into the meditation stage; once again eyes flickered into the open flame of the girls room. If she were to truely enter through the fire-a hologram you can call it- She would have to rest in her fiery domain for some time. "Fates will get you no where. I'm much more useful.." The fire trailed off, persuading this odd "human". "So forgotten..I do believe even the oldest of wizards would have trouble sensing me." Her molten jaw cracked and shifted into a smirk.
